Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DocViewer. One at docviewer.one ("Service"), operated by Subashis ("we," "us," or "our"). By using DocViewer. One, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DocViewer. One, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you are using DocViewer. One on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
DocViewer. One renders HTML and CSS files stored in your Google Drive and lets you share them via public links. Viewers can access rendered documents through share links without needing a Google account. DocViewer. One fetches file content from Google Drive on demand using your granted OAuth credentials, renders it in an isolated environment, and serves it to viewers.
DocViewer. One is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Google LLC.
3. Account Requirements
To use DocViewer. One, you must sign in with a Google account. By connecting your Google account, you authorize DocViewer. One to access your Google Drive files in read-only mode. You represent that:
- You are at least 13 years old.
- The information associated with your account (your Google profile) is accurate and belongs to you.
- You will keep your account secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use DocViewer. One for lawful purposes only. You must not use the Service to:
- Share HTML files containing malware, phishing pages, drive-by downloads, or any other malicious code.
- Distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the Republic of India, including but not limited to content that infringes copyright, defames individuals, or constitutes child sexual abuse material.
- Use share links to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Misrepresent the source of a share link (e.g., disguising a link to make it appear to come from a trusted entity in order to deceive viewers).
We reserve the right to remove share links, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of this policy, with or without prior notice depending on the severity.
5. Intellectual Property
Your content is yours. You retain full ownership of any HTML files you store in Google Drive and share via DocViewer.One. We do not claim any rights to your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to fetch and render your files solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
Our software. The DocViewer. One application, design, and underlying code are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the DocViewer. One software.
6. Payment Terms
The Pro plan is billed at $5 per month (or $50 per year if you choose annual billing). Payments are processed by our third-party Merchant of Record, who handles all billing and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes.
- Recurring billing. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You authorize the Merchant of Record to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Cancellation. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
- Refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review your case.
- Price changes. We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers via email.
7. Service Availability
DocViewer. One is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability SLA. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or factors outside our control (including Google Drive API outages). We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of planned maintenance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocViewer. One and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damages resulting from service interruptions.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to DocViewer. One in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
By you. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Deleting your account removes all your data from our systems and disables all your share links.
By us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law. For serious violations (e.g., sharing malicious content), we may terminate immediately without notice. For minor violations, we will generally attempt to notify you first.
Upon termination, your share links will stop working and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DocViewer. One will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
